Goodbye to “press one for sales”

Five options and the one you need isn’t there, so you end up in the wrong department. With Lera, callers say it in their own words and reach the right person.

A switchboard that listens instead of asking for keys

A phone menu makes people guess the right number. The agent asks and understands.

Press 1 for sales, 2 for billing, 3 for support…

You’ve charged me twice this month.

I see, that’s handled by billing. I’ll put you through.

What used to be a five-option menu

  1. 09:20

“I was charged twice.” Passed to billing with the reason.

  2. 11:45

“What time do you open on Saturday?” Answered without passing anyone.

  3. 16:10

“I want to extend my contract.” Passed to sales, who already know why.

Hear a Lera agent route a call

What do I say?

You are a member and want to join a course. Hit play and say one of these out loud.

  • «I would like to sign up for a training course»
  • «What courses do you have this month?»
  • «My membership number is 3187»

How it gets going

  1. Connect it

Forward your usual number or launch the calls from your system. Nothing to install.

  2. Build it with Maite

The panel copilot helps you write the agent with your information.

  3. Test and tune it

You test it by voice or text before publishing, and every call is summarised so you can see what to change.

Frequently asked questions

They can. The agent receives the phone’s keys, so you can ask for a customer number or an option and let them type it.

Usually to a full number, landline or mobile. To reach an extension, Lera can dial it with tones once the call is answered, or pass the call straight to it if your phone system is connected to Lera by SIP. If it can’t be passed, the agent comes back to the caller.

The agent comes back to the caller, tells them and carries on. You can add several numbers in order so it tries the next one. It never leaves them on an endless ring.

No. You forward your usual number to a Lera inbound line, for every call or only when you don’t answer or the line is busy, and your callers keep dialling the same number. If your phone system allows it, you can also forward only outside opening hours.

You pay per minute of conversation, billed by the second, from €0.073/min with no monthly fee. If the agent hands the call to a person, it is charged until it connects them; through your Lera line, handing the call over has a fixed amount per call, published in the panel, and the conversation with that person is not billed by the minute. Your first inbound line is included. You start with €10 of free credit, no card.
