The voice agent for restaurants that take bookings by phone

The phone rings most when the dining room is full, and every missed call is an empty table. Lera takes the bookings without anyone putting down a tray.

The phone rings at half past two and at half past nine

  • The busiest time for calls is exactly when the dining room is full, and nobody can put down their tray.
  • An unanswered call is an empty table that night.
  • Taking bookings in a rush ends in double-booked tables and misspelt names.

With Lera every call is answered and the booking is written down with a name and phone number.

What do I say?

  • «There are six of us, any room tomorrow?»
  • «What about a bit later, around ten?»

Frequently asked questions

It offers the slots your booking system returns, and you can have Lera check that the table it books is one of them before sending it. If it can’t check, it takes the request with all the details for you to confirm.

Lera has no closed connectors. The agent checks and records in your booking system with functions that call its web address, its own or your integrator’s. If it has none, each call stays in the history with its summary and the details collected, and can reach you by email when it ends.

Each agent answers in Spanish, English or French, and if you allow it, it switches to the caller’s language among those three.

Yes. Out of the box the greeting says it is a virtual assistant, and if you change it the panel warns you it is missing, because European law requires telling people. What they notice is that at half past nine someone answers. Hear it yourself in the demo on this page.

No. You forward your usual number to a Lera inbound line, for every call or only when you don’t answer or the line is busy, and your customers keep dialling the same number. If your phone system allows it, you can also forward only outside opening hours.

You pay per minute of conversation, billed by the second, from €0.073/min with no monthly fee. Your first inbound line is included. You start with €10 of free credit, no card.
