What an automatic call summary is
Out of the box, every call your agent handles is saved in Call history with a short summary and its transcript, which is the text of everything that was said. The detail view also shows the intent, the urgency and the sentiment, meaning whether the caller ended up happy or annoyed.
Post-call analysis goes one step further. You choose which details to pull from each call and, when it ends, Lera rereads the conversation and fills them in by itself, as if it were a form.
Take an association. A member calls to ask about this year's fee and asks to be called back. When she hangs up, the call is saved with her membership number, the topic, fees, and a yes under "wants a call back", without anyone having to read the conversation or copy anything by hand.
What it's good for
You don't have to read every call. The summary tells you what it was about and your details tell you what you need to act on.
It helps you organise the work. With the topic picked from a list, you know how many calls were about fees and how many about cancellations, and a yes or no tells you who needs a call back.
And the details reach your own system by themselves as soon as the call ends, with no copying and pasting.
How to set it up, step by step
Open your agent in Agents and go to the Post-call analysis section. Click Add for each detail you want.
Give it a short name, in lowercase with underscores, like membership_number. That's the name you'll see in the panel and the one your system will receive.
Choose the type. Text for anything free-form, like the reason for the call. Yes or no for a closed question, like whether they want a call back. Number for an amount. List of options when the answer has to be one of several, like fees, activities or cancellation, which you write separated by commas.
Describe each detail in one sentence. This matters more than anything else for getting it right. "Membership number the caller gives, exactly as they say it" works far better than "member".
Save and publish the agent. From the next call onwards, your details appear in each call's detail, under Call history, next to the summary.
How to receive it outside the panel
By email. In the Actions when the call ends section, click Add and choose "Email me about each call". You get an email with the name, the contact phone number and the summary. So that there's a name and a phone number, the panel adds those two details to your analysis if you don't have them yet, and the email goes to whoever sets it up, which you can change.
If you don't want an email for every call, use "Configure conditions" to be told only when the caller wants a call back. And with "Try it on a call" you pick a call from your history and see whether it would have been sent, without sending anything.
In your own system. In Integrations, connect the Post-call webhook and paste your system's web address under "Webhook URL". A webhook is an automatic message one program sends another, and Lera sends this one at the end of every call with the summary, the intent, the urgency, the sentiment, your details and the transcript. It works with your CRM, your business software or your n8n.
Every message is signed with the same secret as your functions, so your system can check it comes from Lera. If your system doesn't respond, it's tried up to three times.
And through the API, which is the door for your own software to talk to Lera, whoever builds your integration can read any call whenever they like, with its summary and its details. The API isn't included in every plan.
What to know
Anything that wasn't said on the call stays empty. The analysis never makes up a value to fill the gap.
You can ask for up to 15 details per agent, and the sentence describing each one is what makes it reliable. If a detail comes out wrong, the fix is almost always in that sentence.
If something wasn't actually done, the analysis won't record it as done, even if the agent said it was. If the function that logs a request never ran, the call isn't saved as logged.
The message to your system goes out once the analysis is finished, shortly after the call ends. It includes the transcript unless your account has it switched off.
The Post-call webhook applies to the whole project, so it arrives for calls from all your agents. With the agent and the number that was called, your system knows where each one came from.
Frequently asked questions
What if my system was down when the message arrived? It's tried up to three times. And if it's still lost, whoever built your integration can read that call later through the API, with its summary and your details.
Can I send it to my n8n? Yes. The Post-call webhook sends the details, signed, to the address you enter, whether that's your n8n, your CRM or your own software, using the same secret as your functions.
Where do I see the result? In each call's detail, under Call history, next to the summary.
Can I change the details later? Yes. Changes apply to calls that come in after you publish, and earlier calls stay as they were.
How much does it cost to try? €20 free credit, no card needed. Add your details, call yourself and see how the call looks in your history.
